The Expat Biohacker
Manifesto & Entryway
I come from momentum. I move by coherence. I let beauty guide the useful: to dwell in the world with awareness, beauty, and simplicity.
Live smarter. Age slower. A Mediterranean aesthetic, simple routines, tangible results.
Note: Very soon, the homepage will become Essentials & Rituals, TEB Magazine (editorial cover). This page will remain the “My DNA” entry and a clear presentation of the universe.
1. My DNA
The beginning wasn’t a place, but a momentum
Ibiza isn’t a destination. It’s a breath. An island where time stretches and masks fall. Here, light brushes white walls, silences speak louder than words, and the sea reminds you daily that everything changes — even us.
I arrived without a map, without a plan. Guided by one question: how to live better, anywhere? Between two continents, two careers, two renewals, I realised true luxury isn’t material — it’s the ability to inhabit the world consciously.
Momentum — that inner movement that restores clarity — replaced the obsession with destinations.
The paths: an inner geography
My story isn’t a straight line — it has stopovers. In Toulouse, I learned rigour and roots. In Marrakech, light, hospitality, and the art of turning simplicity into beauty. In Bali, slowness and everyday gratitude. In Ibiza, reconciliation between all these parts of me.
Each place shaped me. Each meeting left an echo. This invisible thread between my successive lives is what I now call my DNA: the sum of experiences, mistakes, and wonder.
The turning point: exhaustion from “doing”
For years I confused activity with existence. Hospitality taught me precision, pace, and presence. But serving others’ dreams, I forgot my own.
One day, quietly, something cracked: fatigue wasn’t physical anymore — it was existential. I stopped. I breathed. And I began rebuilding — from within.
Since then, each morning is a ritual. I don’t accumulate — I choose. Luxury is coherence.
The evidence: living is experimenting
I don’t aim to understand everything, but to feel everything. I believe in science — and in sensitivity. In the beauty of well-chosen food, a recovered breath, a soothed mind.
The body is a fine architecture: listen to its foundations. The mind, a vast space we forget to air. Biohacking is just a modern word for an ancient idea: the art of being alive.
“Living better isn’t a quest for perfection, but an art of inhabiting the world.”
The man behind the name
My name is Pedro R.
A quiet explorer, an artisan of meaning, a lover of honest moments.
After years of movement, I learned freedom isn’t leaving — it’s knowing how to stay.
I live in Ibiza with Jeff and our five cats — in a house open to the sea, full of light, objects from elsewhere, and ideas becoming.
I don’t claim truth.
I move, doubt, and experiment.
Epilogue: the call of open water
This site isn’t a blog — it’s a logbook.
A living place where health, art, technology, design, and awareness meet.
A bridge between biology and beauty, between tangible and sensitive.
The Expat Biohacker is how I unite what I’ve learned, loved, and lived through.
A free, sincere, deeply human exploration.
In the end, that’s expat biohacking: coherence of body, mind, and lifestyle — anywhere in the world.
“We don’t change our life — we change how we see what it can become.”
2. Our 5 pillars
5. Pedro — About me
Expat, hotelier, editor.
I’m Pedro. I live in Ibiza. TEB is a slow editorial project: a way to inhabit the world with less noise and more intention.
I believe in tiny rituals, kitchens scented with orange and rosemary, homes that breathe, clothes that last. I believe beauty helps us keep our promises. Here I share what truly works — without posturing.
Who is he, really?
